Pork Belly for One
I found at my local super market that they have these single serving of pork belly - works great for one meal. You could do this on a work night thought it does take a fair amount of time to cook in the oven - its pretty set and forgot however.
Servings 1 Person
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 3 tbsp salt good quality
- 1 300-400 Grams Pork Belly Single serve
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 180c
- Using a sharp knife cut the skin, skin deep in cris/cross like manner
- Rub with olive oil all over the skin
- Rub salt all over the skin
- Place in the oven skin side down for around 45 mins (use a baking dish)
- turn over and crack the temp up to 220c for around 20mins or untill the cracking is at your liking
