Pork Belly for One

I found at my local super market that they have these single serving of pork belly - works great for one meal. You could do this on a work night thought it does take a fair amount of time to cook in the oven - its pretty set and forgot however.
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 1 hour
Total Time 1 hour 10 minutes
Servings 1 Person


  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 3 tbsp salt good quality
  • 1 300-400 Grams Pork Belly Single serve


  • Pre heat oven to 180c
  • Using a sharp knife cut the skin, skin deep in cris/cross like manner
  • Rub with olive oil all over the skin
  • Rub salt all over the skin
  • Place in the oven skin side down for around 45 mins (use a baking dish)
  • turn over and crack the temp up to 220c for around 20mins or untill the cracking is at your liking
